Comcast has been slowly but surely increasing my bill by about $2 every month. It went something like this: $55, $55, $65, $66, $67, $69. When it got so close to $70 I couldn’t take it anymore and decided to investigate.
About to experience the wonderful ride called "Horrible customer service from @comcast" i'll try to live tweet.

This online rep so far has been very friendly and sounds eager to help. Although I am waiting while he "looks into my issue."

Apparently I am paying 12$ a month for something called "Blast Internet"
— Alex Krasny (@lexKrasny) March 10, 2015
Blast internet takes me from 25Mbps to 50Mbps. Feels a bit like a price gouge/exploit to me…

Well he cancelled Blast for me, although he left rather suddenly and without asking me if I was finished… @comcast pic.twitter.com/4qhMx5c6W1

Navjot knows what's up. He deserves a promotion. All in all, it wasn't even that horrible of an experience. pic.twitter.com/D0Fvvfpj9Q

Mission accomplished. I am not paying -$12 a month. Although apparently getting half the speed -_-. Thank you all for your support.

I can’t believe Comcast is closed on the weekend! What year is it?
Unless you are streaming video with no buffer, as Netflix and Hulu do for example, 25Mbps is more than adequate. So, if you streamed your podcast live video might lag or similar; but I run Netflix constantly and get HD quality with 7Mbps.
Also have you considered CenturyLink? DSL has come quite a long way and I’ve never had an interrupted connection in 4 years.
I should be considering it.
