On the exam company – It’s not a monopoly as much as crony capitalism. Government type gigs often have a ridiculous qualification process of which very few make it through. Not sure what the criteria are… because inevitably the only companies that make it through suck soooo hard at what they are supposed to do (healthcare developers anyone?)
imo: We need a better qualification process that evaluates actually how well you do your job as well as your security credentials, and doesn’t consider if your brother/sister is on thier board also =).
