Possibly the perfect video game. Ninja Gaiden has great graphics with cutscenes between levels, awesome music, sharp responsive controls and BRUTAL difficulty. Those who can beat Ninja Gaiden without any save states or cheating is an exclusive club. You know what makes this even more impressive? You have INFINITE CONTINUES and you still can’t beat the game. The game doesn’t just make you lose, it breaks your spirit. You don’t get defeated by Ninja Gaiden, dying in combat is an honorable death. Ninja Gaiden beats on you, wears you down, and convinces you to quit. Like a pathetic snot-nosed fucking loser, you put the controller down, turn off the Nintendo, and feel like a failure.
